About Wit & Wander
Wit & Wander features essays in philosophy and the history of ideas. It’s a place for me to practice my essay writing in front of a public audience, a project I hope will bring us both some joy.
wit (v.) "to know" (archaic), Old English witan (past tense wast, past participle witen) "to know, beware of or conscious of, understand, observe, ascertain, learn"
wander (v.) Middle English wandren, from Old English wandrian "move about aimlessly, wander"
